Introduction: Thyroid autoimmunity (TAI) commonly defined as the presence of thyroperoxidase antibodies (TPOAbs) and/or thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAbs) affects up to 15 percent of women of reproductive age and is a well-known risk factor of pregnancy loss.
